My first production job that was offered to me was when I was a Junior at Foothill Technology High School in 2005. One of my teachers suggested I join the Associated Student Body (ASB) in my Senior Year. I became the Assistant Tech. Director involved with web-design, video-production and more for not only the ASB class but for the whole high-school. Directly across the street from the school was Ventura's Public Access Station "Community Access Partners of San Buenaventura" (CAPS-TV) and they had requested a couple students help in filming High-School & College Graduation Ceremonies. They assigned me to Camera 2 and put me on a headset so I could receive direction from the Technical Director (TD). It was one of the most thrilling experiences in my life and instantly I became addicted to anything that had to do with a camera or production. During my senior year we were tasked to volunteer 30 hours with a local non-profit and that was when I approached CAPS and told them of our project. They agreed to let me volunteer and I have been involved with them since. Working with CAPS it became clear to me how vital it is to have these NPO's in the community. Now that I am operating a business and making profit I want to make sure I can continue to support all non-profits and that is where you can join me in helping!

Our latest work was with the Local Boys and Girls Club of Greater Ventura. They were applying for a $10,000 grant from the Helpful Honda dealers, and needed to submit a video to explain why they needed the grant money so they could begin building a teen center for the youth of Oak View, California. We showed up shot this video and turned it around within a day so the deadline could be met. A couple weeks ago we were informed the video won the grant money and they are now on their way to beginning the construction!

It's that time of week to show off some awesome time-lapse footage of Two Trees Ventura! This is from the planting that happened on Earth Day on April 22nd, 2017.
We start off in the hillsides and make our way through the bustling city, up to the local Sespe River and Pine Mountain backcountry for a spectacular moon rise. Then on our way to Big Bear for some hiking! Then we finish off back in Ventura to plant that tree!
